Stader’s Validator Selection Criteria for $MATICX
V1 of Stader’s liquid staking solution for $MATIC holders is live.
V1 of Stader’s liquid staking solution for $MATIC holders is live.
And to cater to our mission of promoting decentralization of the Polygon chain, we are excited to share with you a scrutinized list of validators that have made it to our liquid staking pool set.
The Selection Criteria
To provide the best staking experience to our stakers, we follow strict criteria to examine validators before listing them on our platform.
Here’s what we ensure:
- The validators should have 100% of their last 200 checkpoints signed and over 98% signed from the past 90 days. Put simply, a validator should have near-100% uptime to ensure best returns for stakers and minimize slashing.
- To support the decentralization of validator nodes, a validator must not have more than 1% of $MATIC in circulation staked with them.
- Regarding any validator, the feedback from the community or the foundation is considered paramount.
